Photo Booth Terms & Conditions



A&C Photography/A&C Photo Booth agree to supply a photo booth and the additional extras for the set amount of hours and times agreed with the client prior to the event, as stated in the cover letter of this document. A&C Photo Booth agrees to have a photo booth operational for a minimum of 80% of the allocated duration; operations may need to be interrupted for maintenance.



A non-refundable deposit for the amount of £50 is due upon the time of booking. The remaining amount is due 14 days prior to the Client's event. We accept payments through PayPal (acphotography@mail.com), cash or bank transfer (sort code – 40-22-01, account number – 51509268). WE WILL NOT SECURE YOUR DATE ON OUR CALENDAR UNTIL THE DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. By paying the deposit, it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our terms and conditions of hire. If the deposit is not paid within 14 days of your booking, the date will then be reopened to other customers.



In the event that A&C Photo Booth is not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will still operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting). In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances that are no fault of A&C Photo Booth, then the hire will still end as per the agreed time on the booking form. In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by you or the venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed time on the booking form.

A&C Photo Booth cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event; these may include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicles, sickness or equipment failure. In the case that we cannot attend or fulfil your hire due to events beyond our control we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances, our liability will be limited to a refund of all of monies paid.

Please be aware the props, albums and the second set of prints are provided as free additions to the photo booth hire, and if for any reason the free additions are not working or available, or get damaged during the hire period the client shall not be entitled to a refund of any amount.



We will contact you to confirm a set time period for the photo booth 1 month to 2 weeks prior to your booking date.

If the client/guests continue to use the equipment for a time period in excess of the service period agreed to in the invoice, the overage in rental time will be billed to the client at the following rates: £40.00 per half hour. Payments for any overage must be paid before additional hours are provided. If you require set up or the photo booth prior to the agreed operational times, there will be an idle hourly fee of £30 which is payable before the event date. This means the booth will be set up and ready but will not be open for use until the agreed time.



We only provide free travel throughout the Doncaster & Scunthorpe areas, within a 35 mile radius from DN9 1JF. Additional charges will be calculated at £0.50 per mile after the initial 35 miles. If applicable, travel charges will be calculated at the time of booking and included in the total booking fee.



The client will arrange for an appropriate space to be made available for the photo booth at the event's venue (7ft deep x 4ft wide x 7ft high minimum). The client is responsible for providing power for the photo booth, with a standard 13amp wall outlet no more than 8 meters away from photo booth location. The desired location for the photo booth must be reasonably accessible for delivery and the site must be level, dry and indoors.


Please inform us if the location for the photo booth is upstairs or if we will be parked away from your venue, as we will need to make necessary arrangements with regards to the set up time. Any delay in set up which is incurred because of access difficulties not previously disclosed will be deducted from your allocated photo booth hire time. Once the photo booth has been erected, it cannot be moved.



Any request for a date change must be made in writing at least 30 days in advance of the original event date. Change is subject to availability and agreement of a revised service contract. If there is no availability on the alternate date, the deposit is still non-refundable.



Any request for a cancellation must be made in writing at least 30 days in advance of the event date. Any cancellation occurring after the initial booking and before the 30 days notice will result in any amounts paid being refunded, except the £50 non-refundable deposit. Any cancellation occurring less than 30 days prior to the event date shall not be refunded.



The client acknowledges that he or she is responsible for any damage or loss to the provider's equipment caused by: a) Any misuse of the provider's equipment by the client or guests, or b) Any theft of provider's equipment or accessories. Damage expenses and any loss of work will be invoiced to the client within 14 days after the event date.



Younger guests, in operation of the photo booth, are the responsibility of their elders. They must be accompanied at all times during their session, and must not be left un-attended, A&C Photo Booth cannot be held responsible for the actions of young children, and we reserve the right to refuse access to a child if an adult is not present.


Any injury suffered by an employee, owner or affiliate of A&C Photo Booth whilst on site, will be covered by personal insurance, unless injury is caused by malicious intent or severe negligence. The client agrees on behalf of all guests, vendors and venue employees attending the said event to release A&C Photo Booth from all liability due to injury or damage caused by use of the photo booth.


If the attendant feels, due to excess alcohol, a guest is unfit to use the booth we reserve the right to refuse their access. If at any point A&C Photo Booth staff feel threatened by the customer or their guests, or concerned about the equipment’s welfare, the photo booth operation will cease with immediate effect and no refund will be given. Any threatening or violent behaviour will not be tolerated, and legal actions will be taken out on those who cause actual bodily harm, or cause physical damage to equipment.



A&C Photo Booth accepts no liability for your guests’ conduct within the photo booth. This includes any photographs or messages you may find inappropriate or offensive included within your photo album. Any images deemed unfit by A&C Photo Booth will not be uploaded onto our Facebook page. It is not our responsibility if any photographs taken are not placed in the album and any damage to the album during the event is not our responsibility. We own the copyright of any images taken inside the photo booth.



If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable under Contract Law, then provision, or portion thereof, shall be deemed separate from the rest of this contract and shall not effect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions, or portions thereof. This is the entire agreement between A&C Photo Booth and the client relation to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing, signed by both parties.

In the event A&C Photo Booth is unable to supply a working* photo booth for at least 80% of the service period, the client shall be refunded a prorated amount based on the amount of service received. If the printer fails to print out photos on site A&C Photo Booth will provide a link to our website where their guests can log onto and download prints free of charge, and the client will receive one copy prints through the post. If the client due to circumstances out of A&C Photo Booth’s control receives no service, A&C Photo Booth's maximum liability will be the return of all payments received from the client. A&C Photo Booth is not responsible for any consequential damages or lost opportunities upon breach of this agreement.

*Working refers to the Photo booth in service & taking pictures.



The client agrees to, and understands the following: All guests using the photo booth hereby give A&C Photo Booth the right and permission to copyright and use, photographic portraits or pictures of any photo booth user who may be included intact or in part, made through any and all media now or hereafter known for illustration, art, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose.


If you would prefer not to agree to the model release, please inform us in writing BEFORE you pay your deposit, and we can make sure this detail is added to your booking. We can offer an alternative solution of uploading your images to a password protected gallery via our website.



The client agrees to, and understands the following:

  • The client will indemnify A&C Photo Booth against any and all liability related to the clients’ event during or after. The client will indemnify A&C Photo Booth from the time of service and on into the future, against any liability associated with the client.
  • The client will indemnify A&C Photo Booth against any and all liability associated with the use of any pictures taken within the photo booth, by its representatives, employees or affiliates at their event.
  • In addition, I hereby release, discharge and agree to save A&C Photo Booth, from any liability, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy. 
  • Terms & conditions are subject to change with 30 days notice before your booking.
